A new way to look at historic racing cars

With the news that Paul Woodford will host SSTV’s brand new historic motor racing television series, he’s been exploring the art and soul of historic race cars.

Having been the face of leading UK rally TV series Special Stage for the best part of a decade, we recently took a slightly new direction with one side of the broadcasting, swapping the forests for the race circuits.

Our first historic motor racing show went down well with fans and competitors, and I’m hoping we’ll be given the go ahead to make more shows in the series, but for the time being you can watch the Historic Sports Car Club (HSCC) 50th anniversary race programme here…

My live grid walk, surrounded by iconic – and in some cases priceless – racing machinery inspired me to bring my Twitter followers a snap shot of what stirs my soul when I’m filming these shows.

Here’s the series of historic racing cars under moody skies, you can see the rest of the series by follwing me on Twitter – @PaulWoodford84.
